The Rembrandt Quintet

An Elephantine Ballad Artwork

The Rembrandt Quintet had a lovely night at the lobby bar of the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok. Playing original jazz compositions in front of a great crowd.

The night was sponsored by the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok in preparation for the launching of our discography “An Elephantine Ballad”, a jazz suite inspired by the poems of HRH Prince Henrik, the Prince Consort of Denmark, and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand.

Composed and arranged by Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda. The youngest member of King Bhumipol of Thailand’s “Au Saw Friday” Royal Jazz Band.

With Sarun Ungpanya on Guitar, Suppanart Kunagonjittirak on Bass, and Pruettiron “Azujazz” Nanthawowat on Drums.

Recorded in 2012 as a special project for the 50th anniversary of Thai Elephant in Denmark.
